Right of withdrawal, returns & complaints

1. Right of withdrawal

When purchasing goods on AEKTA.se, you as a customer have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal according to the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59). The withdrawal period begins on the day you receive your order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must:

  • notify us in writing via kundservice@aekta.se within 14 days of receipt, and

  • Return the product no later than 14 days after the cancellation notice has been made.

Refunds will be made no later than 14 days from the date we receive the goods or proof that they have been returned, via the same payment method used for the purchase.


2. Conditions for returns

When returning the product, it must:

  • to be in an unchanged condition

  • returned in original packaging

  • include all accessories , certificates, boxes, dustbags, labels and documentation

  • have intact security seals , if any

The customer is responsible for the product until it has been received and approved by AEKTA. Returns must be well packaged and sent by traceable and insured shipping. The customer is responsible for all return and shipping costs.


3. Limitations on the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may be fully or partially forfeited in the following cases:

  • Security seal, label or protection has been broken, removed or tampered with

  • The product shows minimal signs of use, wear, odor, scratches or other impact.

  • Original packaging or accessories are missing or damaged

  • The product has been purchased or reserved specifically at the customer's request.

  • The product has lost its original resale value.

In these cases, AEKTA reserves the right to make depreciation deductions or refuse reimbursement completely.


4. Impairment

If the product has been handled more than is necessary to determine its properties and function, a deduction will be made corresponding to the decrease in value.

Examples (non-limiting):

  • Missing or damaged original packaging: approx. 20–30%

  • Broken seal or removed label: at least 30%

  • Visible wear or use: 50-70%

  • Product without resale value: up to 100%

Assessment is done individually.


5. Special conditions for products over 50,000 SEK

For products with a sales price of SEK 50,000 or more , the following applies, in addition to the above conditions:

  • All products are delivered with security seals or equivalent protection.

  • If the seal is broken, the product is considered used.

  • A full refund is then no longer possible.

  • Returns should always be made with insured and traceable shipping.


6. Special conditions for products over 100,000 SEK

For products with a sales price of 100,000 SEK or more, the following also applies:

Manual order review

AEKTA reserves the right to:

  • manually review the order

  • contact customer for verification

  • delay delivery up to 48 hours

Extended return requirements

  • Returns may only be made according to instructions from AEKTA.

  • The customer is fully responsible for the product until it is approved by AEKTA.

  • Returns without prior approval are not accepted.


7. Complaints

All products are carefully checked before delivery. If an item is nevertheless faulty or does not match the description, you have the right to complain in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act.

Complaints should:

  • be done immediately after the error is discovered

  • sent to kundservice@aekta.se

  • include order number, description and pictures/video of the error

If the complaint is approved, AEKTA is responsible for the return shipping. If the complaint is not approved, the customer is responsible for all costs. AEKTA reserves the right to deny complaints that do not meet the legal requirements.


8. Unclaimed packages

If a shipment is not collected, AEKTA reserves the right to charge a handling fee and make deductions for shipping and administrative costs.


9. Order review & security

AEKTA reserves the right to:

  • refuse or cancel orders if fraud is suspected

  • Reject purchases with inconsistent payment or delivery details

  • cancel the contract due to circumstances beyond our control

Summary

AEKTA offers a statutory right of withdrawal. At the same time, exclusive luxury products require special responsibility. All returns are handled individually, taking into account the value, condition and nature of the product.
